Mindset Reset

Do you know the 14th and 15th letters of the alphabet? 

 

A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H…… It’s OK to count… we’ll wait. (and it’s OK to use your fingers..) And when you get to the14th and 15th letters of the alphabet, read on. 

 

See, your NO determines where you GO. 

 

We all know sometimes the Rebel journey can feel overwhelming. Those around you don’t always understand why you’re living this way. And when you want to give and serve and love the world around you, it’s easier to say ‘yes’ than to say ‘no’. 

 

But consider this: 

Part of the Rebel refining process is learning to say NO to the wrong things – even to ‘good’ things – so you can say YES to the BEST things. 

 

  • Saying NO to poor food choices so you can say YES to performing your best.

  • Saying NO to over-consuming alcohol, caffeine and sugar, so you can say YES to ________________. 

  • Saying NO to doom scrolling, social media rabbit holes, and 24-hour news channels, so you can say YES to a peaceful mind and a calm week. (READ MORE)

Service To Others.

Whether it's serving your community, your church, or your family, it's the one thing that gets The Ego out of the driver's seat. It's the equivalent of looking up at the stars and remembering how small we really are -- and how beautiful it is when we show up together.

Protein: Not Just For Gym Bros

You're not gonna fall and break a hip because you didn't eat enough kale.

 

As you age, you need to be mindful of eating more PROTEIN. You know protein is essential for everyone—whether you’re building strength, supporting mental clarity, or simply working toward overall well-being. 

 

BUT, as we get older we tend to lose muscle mass (sarcopenia) and strength. Sadly, a lot of ‘healthy’ food options focus only on leafy greens and fruit. While those foods can be wonderful things to add to your diet, you’re not gonna fall and break a hip because you didn’t eat enough kale. 

 

Muscle is literally the body’s armor… and you build (and keep) it by feeding it protein. It not only plays a critical role in nurturing not our bodies but also our minds as well. (READ MORE...)

Spiritual Health

Your spiritual and mental health is just as important as your physical health. I encourage everyone I work with to pray, meditate and journal daily. Remember how finite we are and how infinite God is. It's humbling and centering. And it helps us serve from a place of gratitude and grace.
