Lots of people think life is a competition when it's really a community.

We're living in hard times. So when someone belittles you, comes at you or throws shade your way, don't get angry.

Have empathy.

They don't understand that you're building something-- a life, a community, a business, a family, a relationship-- that's worth more than they can understand.

Just do you. Build your thing. Live your life. Grow. Stretch. Reach. Learn. And be unwavering in what you're after. Remember who's building and who's tearing down.
